N-FOAM, developed by NISHINE LURE WORKS LTD, has strong buoyancy like balsawood but the same level of durability as wooden lures.

N-FRAME and N-WEIGHT
We developed the N-FRAME component, which is installed into the lowest part of the lure body. The offset of the N-WEIGHT within the N-FOAM body creates the realistic and quick motion of our baits.

 

Production Process
Everything is painstakingly handcrafted in house, so much so that each lure is nearly a custom piece. The molding process is done in our workshop; we make our original silicone molds and cast each lure by hand. We know that these processes are a time-consuming job, but that also assures that the lure you get will be of the utmost quality.

REALISTIC BODY DESIGN
We imitate real fish as close as possible in both look and action. These amazingly realistic bodies are created by Hiroshi Nishine with traditional Japanese tools. This method of lure making originated from artistry of carving wooden fish.

REALISTIC EYE
You will find the pupil and gold ring around the iris in our original eyes. These realistic eyes are also handcrafted in our workshop.

 

REALISTIC SCALES
Approximately 600 scales are carved on the BEATOUR M Series crankbaits which imitate the natural shimmer of real scales.

 

QUALITY PAINT
All of our products are hand airbrushed. Several layers of paints result in an amazingly lifelike fish.

- D E V E L O P M E N T

PROTOTYPING
Because body shape is the most important factor of lure performance, a lot of trial models are created during the development period while searching for the most effective body shape that yields the desired lure action.

 

 TUNING
Once the body is designed, our focus shifts to tuning. Proto models are tuned thoroughly, including adjusted weight balance, weight position, lip shape, lip angle, etc. All proto models that are field tested are made of wood.

 

DUPLICATE
From final tuning, the wooden models are transformed to the N-FORM material and tweaked again, based on this material, for mass production.
